Making Your Corporate Gifts Last

Christmas is the time of year when we send gifts of appreciation to our clients. It’s important that these presents don’t disappear after a few days of corporate snacking. If you send a gift basket be sure to include hard goods that will remind your clients of you throughout the upcoming year. Items imprinted with your company name or logo are always a good idea. Avoid calendars, unless you have them custom made at a place like Office Max (otherwise they are too common), and pens that stop working after a week. It’s better not to give anything at all than something cheap that will reflect poorly on your company.

AllgiftsEngraved.com and Findagift.com both have an excellent selection of reasonably priced personalized items that are great for corporate gifts; for example, pens, business card cases, money clips, paperweights, note pads, and key rings. These can be given individually or added to a beautiful gift basket.

To the usual Wine and Cheese Basket add a book about wine, a subscription to the Wine Spectator, coasters with your logo, monogrammed wine glasses, or an engraved wine opener. These will all be around long after the cheese is gone. A membership in a wine of the month club is a great addition if you want to spend a little more. (wineofthemonthclub.com, atasteofcalifornia.com)

To the Gourmet Coffee and Tea Basket add six mugs with your company logo, some gift certificates for Dunkin Donut or for the local muffin lady. If you really want to make an impression look into the Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker for about $150 (keurig.com, amazon.com, target, and many other places carry it). As a coffee drinker, this is probably the best Christmas gift I ever received and the one that people love the most when I give it as a gift. Include a big box of biscotti and your client will definitely remember you all year.

A picture frame that comfortably fits on a crowded desk is a gift that is always appreciated. Have your company name discreetly engraved in one of the corners, and make sure that the people who place the orders all have one to look at each day. This can easily be added to any gift basket.

Hopes this helps you out with some last minute corporate gifts. Contact Judy at if you need anymore suggestions.
